About Jonathan Craig
"Its not what you look at that matters, its what you see." - Henry David Thoreau
With accomplishments in interior design and visual presentation over the past 26 years, Jonathan Craig works with home owners and leading corporations to create unforgettable environments. His design expertise maximizes the use of space while touching all five senses.
Jonathan was the first American to graduate from the Colour Theory Analysis Institute in England and the Horticultural and Design University in Lyon France. His work has been featured in more than 28 publications worldwide and on English and Scottish television.
Beyond his expertise in design, Jonathan is also an accomplished entrepreneur who has owned several businesses including restaurants, retail establishments, design centers, reception facilities and hospitality venues. One of his many passions is converting unused historic buildings into works of art -- business owners and their patrons are still enjoying these landmarks today as result of Jonathan's vision.
Concerned for humanity, Jonathan works to give back to the world community. He has worked to lend purpose to men and women in Africa, sharing with them key principles for living healthy, full lives. In the Fall of 2007, he was appointed as Ambassador of Goodwill to the Kingdom of Swaziland.
Born in Redlands California to a family of home and commercial developers, Jonathan was surrounded by world class designers and discovered his love for design while observing them create. He was also fortunate enough to be able to travel the world in his youth, soaking up the architectural and design elements of which Europe is so famous for.
Jonathan is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, National Home Furnishing Association, and the International Furnishing Design Association. The Jonathan Craig Company caters to clients throughout the U.S. and abroad.
